Breakout sessions scheduled for roundtable on Thu 3/4:

• Cub Scout leaders: Annual Planning Conference
• Scouts BSA leaders: Spring Recruitment

Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner Orvell Franklin will explain why and how your pack needs to hold a planning conference each year. The result of a well-planned program is happy Scouts and families. Sandy Walker from the Membership Committee will share the GCC plan for troops to attract more youth. District Executive Morgan Harris and District Committee Chair Christopher Ferman will also contribute. Membership growth and retention are critical areas for the Central District. Make sure your troop benefits from this training by sending at least one representative. Packs will be trained for fall recruitment at a roundtable in the second quarter of the year. We will not have a third breakout this month so units can focus on the important topics in the Cub Scout and Scouts BSA sessions.

You can find the link for the Zoom meeting on the council website calendar. The room will open at 6:30 to give everybody time to join and socialize before the planned program starts at 7:00.
