Attend virtual roundtable starting at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 1st. The room will open at 6:30 to give everybody time to join and socialize before the planned program starts at 7:00. All interested Scouters and parents are welcome. Contact Keith Jendricks (uwiwita@cox.net) if you need the Zoom meeting link.

Three breakouts sessions are offered.

Cub Scouts – First Impression of Your Pack / Welcoming New Families presented by Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner Orvell Franklin
Scouts BSA – Developing High Performing Youth Leaders presented by Scouts BSA Roundtable Commissioner Janice Ehrlich and Council Training Chair Allyn Calhoun
General session – Finding the Link...Scout Resources and Websites to Help You presented by Assistant District Commissioner Glen DePhillips and Unit Commissioner Judy Walden

Orvell makes a great first impression, so he’ll have his usual high-energy presentation to help your pack greet and embrace the families of new Cub Scouts. For troops, guest speaker Allyn Calhoun will discuss Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST), National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT), and more advanced youth training available at the regional and national level. He and Janice will also offer tips and best practices for enabling your troop to be youth-led. Below is a summary of the general session provided by Judy.

Are you interested in learning more about how to access key Scouting links? Do you want to know where to find more helpful information in our council and district for training, advancement, or events? Do you have specific links to share with others? If you answered yes to any of these questions, come join us and learn more, share what works for you, and grow your "list of links" to deliver the best Scout Program for your Unit!
